Re: FS Nano Cube Package!
you sure you wanna sell your OM setup , and get the vortechs?? IMO the plumbing wont be to bad as long as everything is readily available. Getting all the pvc components is the bitch! If it were me I would keep the OM. Those vortechs are $$$ and im not sure if they have proven themselves yet? They are fairly new, i mean yeah everyone says they work great , but will they work great in 2 years??

Re: FS Nano Cube Package!
Sorry for the thread highjack, but, James, if you're trying to get rid of your OM unit and it's the 4 way version 3 magnetically driven, I would be in for it. Just giving you a heads up since that is basically the last piece of equipment I need for my tank build. Let me know by sending me a PM.
Sorry, Chris. Onto your thread now.

It took me along time to come to this conclusion. I was trying to be cheap and not spend the extra $$$. But 4 powerheads at 3000gph each is hard to compete with a closed loop, without sucking all the power out of my neighborhood. The 4 vortechs will be almost half the wattage of what a Dart pump draws at Max.(3600gph vs 12000) Kind of hard to compare when you factor in that and the controllability of the Vortech's.

Yeah James, from what Jin and others have been saying, I'd go with the Vortechs as well. I've been looking into getting at least one for my 120 for a few months now. Slowly pulling the trigger.
